How Pürra® works

Renovating a staircase with Pürra® takes three steps. There's no structural work, no specialist tools and no waiting weeks for a joiner.

1. Choose your spindle style

Start with the look. Your spindles do most of the visual work on a staircase, so pick the style that suits your hallway. Every Pürra® spindle is compatible with the Pürra rails, newels and newel caps, which means you can choose on appearance alone without worrying about what fits.

2. Select your rails, newels and components

Measure your existing staircase and choose the handrails, baserails, newel posts and caps you need - in pine or oak (available exclusively in Howdens until Jan 2027). Components are sold individually, so you only buy what the job actually requires.

3. Fit using the slot-and-fix system

Slot each component into place and secure it. The system does away with the precision cutting, complex calculations and awkward angles that make traditional stairparts a specialist job, so most staircases can be completed over a weekend.
