Siddington Park Retirement Village
Richard Burbidge supplied Elements stairparts to 13 apartment blocks and the central facilities building at Siddington Park Village, the latest luxury retirement development in the
Cotswolds from Rangeford Villages.
Set among scenic grounds and gardens, Siddington Park Village is a luxury senior living development, located in Cirencester, the home of the Cotswolds. This stunning development was designed with the Cotswold vernacular in mind, but with a modern twist.
The Technical Team at Richard Burbidge worked in conjunction with the Architectural Team to specify Elements stairparts for the development of Siddington Park Village. The team were tasked with selecting stairparts that were contemporary, yet fit in with the natural aesthetics of the property, which is exactly what they achieved.
The Elements stairparts range was selected for each of the apartment blocks staircase. The black metal balusters create a truly timeless look that is both modern and classic. The Oak incorporated within this range is known for its elegance and ability to withstand the test of time. Elements was the perfect choice for these luxury properties.
Elements stairparts were also selected as they are simple and quick to install, saving copious amounts of time when installing on site. The innovative predrilled handrail and baserail allows for a seamless installation as the balusters quickly slot into place. A
matching wall mounted handrail was also installed around the perimeter of the staircases for added safety with corresponding black wall brackets.
Leigh Sperring, Technical & Joinery Sales Manager for Richard Burbidge said: “We are thrilled our Elements stairparts have been chosen for this exceptional development. We worked for many months with the Architectural Team to find a solution that worked across the entire development. Due to the varying number of staircase pitches involved we even produced bespoke pre drilled handrail and baserail to accommodate each staircase.”
“The easy-to-fit design helps save installation time on site and making the product an ideal choice for contractors. Prior to call off our Technical Team visited site to survey each staircase and produce working CAD drawings to assist product sign off and installation. The client can also be safe in the knowledge the system is tested by FIRA to resist loadings of 0.74kN/m, in line with current building regulations, to ensure compliance and style come
hand in hand.”
